Community Links and Friends of St John’s

Who We Are?

The Community Partnership & Friends of St John's is a voluntary organisation and an association of which ALL parents and guardians of children attending St John's C of E Primary School as well as its teaching staff are members. Pupils at St John's, led by Pupil Parliament, suggest and propose new projects which would improve their learning and wellbeing in order to set fundraising opportunities.

Getting Involved?

The Community Partnership & Friends Committee always welcomes and encourages volunteers, to ensure there is a breadth of representative support from all year groups and also to capitalise on the talents, skillsets and experience of our parents and staff.

Meeting new people, knowing more about what goes on in St John's C of E Primary, having a say in how funds should be allocated and making a difference to the pupils experience at St John's C of E are just some of the benefits you will gain by being involved with the Friends of St John's.

Our fundraising opportunities are open to everyone, so why not get involved and see how you can contribute as much or as little as you wish. Our monthly St John's newsletter will share the latest projects with the community.

Our Targets

Your PTA Needs You!

If you have fundraising ideas or would like to get involved and be part of the team to help raise funds, please do not hesitate to contact any of the PTA Committee or alternatively drop a note into the school office for the attention of the PTA.

Exra Play Equipment!

We are currently raising funds to purchase extra play equipment for the main playground.

Line Paintings!

We would also like to provide line paintings in our Early Years playground.

Outdoor Shelter!

We would also like to raise enough money for an outdoor shelter for the children to use during the summer months during the hot weather.
